Here at CBC we have many years experience in handling High Value Household and Collectors Insurance (or ‘High Net Worth’ as often referred to in the industry) for our producing brokers as well as our direct clients. With our dedicated team and delegated authority facilities, we have established a reputation for delivering the quality service that owners of high value houses and collectors appreciate. Our experience enables us to understand that their insurance requirements go beyond those of standard household products, which are often inflexible and far too restrictive.

Contrary to popular belief, this level of cover is not necessarily more expensive than standard household insurers would charge for similar sums insured. Understanding the nature of clients and their collections, the Underwriters we deal with provide full cover and often charge lower rates for fine art collections than the general household contents. Popular perception is that these High Net Worth policies are solely accessible by the ‘elite’ mega-wealthy clients, but this is not the case. Minimum sums insured are £200,000 for buildings and £75,000 in total for fine art, general contents and jewellery.

We have access to all of the quality High Net Worth markets, and have also developed our own bespoke product that has evolved through working in partnership with certain Lloyd’s Underwriters for more than 20 years. This internet-based facility will seek to underline the flexible approach and quality service offered by CBC, backed up by the security afforded by the Lloyd’s market.
